Mountain Lodge is a beautiful spacious log cabin with a wonderful high cathedral ceiling and fantastic views over the croft to the hills beyond. It sleeps six in crisp Egyptian cotton bedlinen and Tartan Blanket co. blankets. There is one king size bed, one double bed and two cosy singles, all with en-suite bathrooms or a shower room. A compact and well-equipped kitchen has all you need whip up a Highland feast or even Christmas dinner, the dining area has a handy extending table, and there's a large sitting room with crackling wood burning stove. Upstairs a cosy mezzanine space up under the eaves provides an excellent spot for the kids to spread out their toys and is well stocked with with board games, bedtime stories and movies. The main living room features comfy leather sofas with sheepskins and blankets and art by our resident Big Sky artist Chrissie Callum McInally.
Venture along the drive for a bit of exploring and den building in the wee wood, say hello to the Highland coos, then head back to your lodge for some marshmallow toasting and an Inverness Coffee Roasters brew by the firepit. Or why not pop along to our local farm brewery, The Black Isle Brewery, for a free tour then while away the afternoon on the deck with a cool organic brew or two.
